Our Secondary Campus held an assembly dedicated to remembering our servicemen and women on Wednesday 24th April. The Year 12 Leadership Team ran the assembly, ushering students and staff to their correct places as well as reading poems and prose that helped to explain the significance of the day. Our College Captains, Tahlia Wells and Mitchell Collins, expertly hosted the event with Dee Jay Redmond performing the Welcome to Country and our Cadets marching with the Australian flag.

Students, including those from the Primary and Secondary Leadership Teams, represented Phoenix P-12 Community College at five ANZAC Day services. These included:

  • The wreath laying service at Ballarat Arch of Victory.
  • The Sebastopol march and service.
  • The Ex-Prisoner of War Memorial wreath laying service.
  • The Ballarat ANZAC Day march and service.
  • The Creswick march and service.
